Detailed Case Study

UL Korea Core Leader Project Workshop

CASE STUDY 04

By combining a two-day intensive workshop with follow-up coaching, ideas progressed through customer validation, financial simulation, IR, and real-world commercialisation.

Client Context

For projects in a core leader development programme to go beyond presentation assignments, ideas must be developed quickly, tested against real customer responses, and assessed in terms of business numbers and feasibility. UL Korea’s participating teams also began with broad concepts and had to explore their commercial potential within a short period.

Transformation Design

During the two-day Quick Track workshop, The Innovation Lab connected the development of topic-specific concepts, customer-interview-based hypothesis validation, business model design, cash-flow simulation, and preparation for IR presentations. Coaching then continued for six months to review the learning and execution of teams exploring real-world commercialisation.

Changes in Decisions · Actions

The published customer success story describes how some participating teams generated approximately KRW 100 million in new revenue from international ventures and produced important early outcomes for new domestic businesses. Participants said they experienced business concepts that had begun as vague intuitions taking concrete shape over two days. It is a case in which learning, validation, numbers, presentations, and follow-up execution formed a single continuous process.
