Detailed Case Study

Gangwon State University G Maker Lab Business Optimization Camp

CASE STUDY 07

Over two days and one night, we combined workshops, group mentoring, and one-on-one coaching to help local startups clearly define their business direction.

Client Context

For a camp serving local startups, what matters more than delivering a large volume of information is enabling each company to apply what it learns to its own business and determine its next direction. The companies participating in G Maker Lab needed to review their current business models and define improvement priorities and action items within a short period.

Transformation Design

The Innovation Lab combined workshops, group mentoring, and one-on-one mentoring in a two-day, one-night residential program. After learning shared concepts, participants broadened their perspectives with peer companies and then worked through questions and next actions tailored to each company’s circumstances.

Changes in Decision-Making · Action

Satisfaction with the training, instructors, mentoring, and effectiveness scored 9.4, 9.8, 9.8, and 9.6, respectively. This case shows that even in a short camp, integrating learning and individual application into a single flow can deliver both program quality and tangible effectiveness.
